The layperson from TX who was preparing to lead our lay renewal weekend of equipping and commissioning has passed away unexpectedly. Please pray for the Thurman family. Pray also for the person whom God will invite to step-in to lead our weekend in May.

Pray for the daughter-in-law of a neighbor who just had a liver transplant @ UAMS. The family requested prayer. Pray there is no rejection. Also pray for the donor family. Donor recipient: Chrissy McCoy.
On May 1-3, lay volunteers from around the nation will be joining us for another Lay Renewal Weekend. The emphasis will be serving Jesus faithfully through the gifts He has invested in each one of us as followers of Christ. Please pray for our guest traveling volunteer team leaders and various team coordinators at CBC as we prepare, being lead by Rick Labaw from NC.
Please pray for my return to the LORD. I am severely backslidden. Please pray for healing for my backsliding and for my body from all diseases, infections and ailments. Please pray that God delivers me from all strongholds and bondages of the devil. Please pray The LORD helps me through the trials I am going through and delivers me from The Devil and my enemies, and that He exposes and confounds their schemes against me. Please pray that The LORD protects me and provides for all of my Spiritual, material and financial needs. Please pray that God gives me the victory over Sin, Satan, the Flesh, The World and all of my enemies, and the LORD restores me unto Himself.

UPDATE 3-25-26 PET scan disclosed the spot is benign! UPDATE 3-19-26 original glioblastoma cite is clear; however, there is a spot on the bone; will do scans 3-20 @ MDA in Houston to determine more UPDATE 1-20-26 scans last week were clear; HALLELUJAH!; will visit MDA every two months for scans 10/28/25 Platelets within range; cleared for next round of chemo. UPDATE 9/29/25 Platelets increased another 25 points! Next round of chemo (by pill) begins tonight. UPDATE 9/26/25 Platelets increased 15 points in past week! PTL 9/23/25 UPDATE: MRI today is clear; platelets a little low; will do more blood work before starting next round of chem; 8/12/25 UPDATE: good reports from scans; continuing oral chemo at home; UPDATE: Karla's recent MRI and blood work is surprising the medical team with unusual improvement; she has another round of chemo by pill; please continue praying. ORIGINAL: Karla has been diagnosed with high grade Gliobastoma. Brain surgery successfully removed the tumor a few weeks ago & she displays no side effects. Radiation and chemo therapy begin next. Please pray for complete healing.
